Organic Fresh Foods Co Biomass Installation

Ben and Lucy at the Organic fresh Foods Co have recently “appointed” a new business assistant called Herbert. Herbert has responsibility for looking after the heating in the business premises and is in fact a wood pellet biomass boiler. Herbert is an Austrian Biotech 25kW MBW manual fill model with a compact footprint. The boiler is linked to a hydraulic separator, distribution manifold and hot water cylinder. The expected annual fuel consumption: Approx. 6-8 tonnes of wood pellets.

This was a turnkey project, space was allocated within the business unit to create the energy centre, which provides heating for the business.

A Biotech boiler and associated equipment was compactly located into a corner of the industrial unit thereby, minimizing loss of space for the business. The use of a manual fill boiler also assisted in minimizing the loss of commercial space that was important for this thriving SME (Small Meduim Enterprise)
